Just wondering, does anybody give fall booster shots? I rec'd a reminder in the mail from the vet who did a prepurchase on my horse.

If there is an outbreak- and it has been over 6 months because you did spring shots so early- it is recommended- otherwise- you should be good with the spring shots....

Depends on which shots and when they were given in the spring? I don't give any of the vaccines for mosquito born diseases until June 1st. so that they are fine until November. I don't do rhino/flu because they are not exposed to other horses right now. But I do live in Maine and the vector borne disease have a little bit of a different time frame than if you live more south.
