exactly maresgreat, definitely need a very experienced trainer for that horse, hope they realize that!!!

Just think weaning but with full grown adults. Or calming suppliments or tranquilizers to get over the initial shock.
If they were in a larger barn or boarding barn they might adjust better than expected with the distraction and lure of other horses.
My guys only are bonkers for each other in small barns with few other horses. In larger barns they bond with other horses and are manageable separated although still bonded
